The Optimists have been selling trees since 1978.

It’s our main fundraiser, and 100% of the profit goes to support the youth of our community. 

Tree Lot Information:

• Our tree lot is located in Jewett Park, Jewett Park Drive and Robert York Road
• Open for the season from November 28 through December 22.
• Saturday and Sunday 9 am – 6 pm / Monday through Thursday 4 pm – 8 pm / Friday from 3 pm – 9 pm.

We will have over 900 trees for sale, including Balsam, Fraser, and Canaan Firs and Scotch Pines in all sizes, as well as wreaths and roping for your outdoor decorating.

The Optimists and our magical elves, the Deerfield High School students who volunteer their time to help us, will help you choose the perfect tree, then fresh cut and load your tree onto your car, all with a smile.  Or we can deliver your tree to your home.  If you like, we can take a photo of the family while you warm up with some hot chocolate and take a peek at our Optimist Special model train layout.   Santa has been known to drop in from time to time.

For many of our customers, buying an Optimist tree is a family tradition – they started coming to our tree lot as children and now they bring their own families to get a great tree and support a great cause.  It’s a labor of love for the Optimists and a little bit of magic for our customers.
